Music with a message will take you places: JJ Young.
Meet JJ Young, a 25 years old, ex-US army veteran, and an upcoming singer. His latest musical art-piece is Show You, which you can stream on almost all platforms, including Apple music. He started creating music only recently, after getting deployed by the US-military.
JJ hails from Columbus, Ohio, and has been enthusiastic about music for a long time. He got inducted into the Army of the United States of America. But it was only until some time ago when he was in the field of action. And right after a hot summer day, he was looking at the stars on the following night, and he realized his growing passion for music. It was there that he decided to start working in the music industry. His music speaks a lot of his experiences from his military career. The gruesome killings and the mind-numbing tortures, and suicides, all formed up a strong emotion in his mind. On this, JJ says, “I have had several friends killed in front of me & my motivation is to be what they believed I would be. I watched a woman commit suicide. I witnessed a 20 years old die in front of me. I had rockets fired in my direction. I lost more friends than I can count, and I want to become the person that can be transparent about dark issues.” And this emotion is pretty evident through his music. We asked him, “How did you overcome the pain inflicted on you during your deployment?” He said, “ Other than that, I want to help people that struggle with suicide/depressing thoughts..” The major take from JJ’s music is that he believes in providing quality content. He likes speaking about the demons people refuse to speak on. The intense and emphatic lyrics in JJ’s music demonstrate a passionate and sensitive artist. His music is all set to induce lightning and thunderstorms in your hearts.
